This Week in Fullback News:
Fullback Don Bosseler passed away at the age of 88 on Wednesday. Bosseler was a 1st round pick out of the University of Miami in 1957 by the Washington Redskins. While at Miami, he was a four year starter and a First-Team All-American in 1956. He went on to play for Washington from 1957- 1964 and was nominated to the Pro Bowl in 1959. Bosseler rushed for 3,112 yards and 22 touchdowns in 8 seasons in the NFL. He was inducted into the University of Miami’s Hall of Fame in 1970 and then into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
