Kansas City Chiefs: FB Carson Steele
Carson Steele was signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 draft out of UCLA. Prior to transferring to UCLA, he was a star Running back at Ball State University. In 2022 at Ball State, “The Athletic” selected him as one of the Top 100 “Freaks” in college football. He was again named a Top 100 “Freak” for the 2023 season at UCLA. He was born and raised in Greenwood Indiana and amassed over 5,900 yards rushing during his High School career on his way to being named Mr. Football in Indiana in 2020.
Philadelphia Eagles: FB Khari Blasingame
Khari Blasingame has played for 4 teams across his 6-year NFL career. Undrafted in 2019 to the Minnesota Vikings. He most notably spent 2 years with the Tennessee Titans blocking for Derrick Henry enroute to a 2,000-yard season in 2021. He then spent two years in Chicago prior to signing with the Eagles this season in early December. Saquon Barkley is the 2nd running back Blasingame has helped lead to a 2000-yard rushing season. The ONLY Fullback to ever be a part of two separate 2000-yard seasons. Prior to the NFL, Blasingame played Linebacker and Half-back at Vanderbilt and was a full-time starting RB his Senior year. He was a 3-Star Safety recruit out of Buckhorn High School in New Market, Alabama in 2015.

Fundamentals: Zone Combo Blocks
In this Chalk Talk, we are discussing the basic terms to know and the key fundamentals to zone blocking combinations. A good zone blocking scheme has the answer for any multitude of problems a defense can present on any given play. The point is that no matter where a defense may align or end up throughout the duration of a zone run play, there will in theory be an offensive lineman there to block them.
Baltimore Ravens (2024)- Influence Run Scheme
The Ravens rushed 43 times for 251 yards and 2 TDs against the Texans in Week 17. Derrick Henry accounted for 147 of those yards on 27 carries and 1 TD.
